Antique Buttons are so beautiful that I believe they are made to be worn whether on clothes or as jewelry.
All of my button jewelry is handcrafted using glass, metal, and celluloid buttons. These buttons range from the late 1800's to the 1950's. The buttons are carefully chosen for color, texture, size, shape and form. They are then artfully blended to create a unique one-of-a-kind keepsake item. I use genuine antique and vintage collectible buttons and accessories. Because they are antique buttons, I am rarely able to duplicate an item.
I also use antique typewriter keys in my designs. They are from genuine antique typewriters circa 1910-1930's.
I use sterling silver chains and bails, gold plated chains along with some plated metal findings in my creations.
